Guys like Parise, Backes, Brown are all guys that will hit you, fish out a puck and then score. Kesler is a pest too. I would not call Malone, or maybe Okposo soft either.
Get Kessel or Kane in the open and they can change a game in a few strides.
Martin and Suter are very calm and steady d men. Ballard is a gritty throw back hip checker. EJ and JJ are both very solid.
Its a nice team. Not of superstars but it has a nice balance to it.
All you need is a few great saves. And a lucky bounce.
I expect them to finish in 4th. I would not be shocked if they won it all.
Stastny-Parise-Kane
Kesler- Kessel- Backes
Connolly- Brown- Ryan
Pavelski- Booth- Malone
Okposo or Oshie
Martin- Suter
Johnson Boys
Komisarek- Ballard
No Langenbrunner and Rafalski. A young group of guys that does not know they should loose can be more dangerous over a short time.
A Kesler- Oshie- Brown line. Could be very fun to watch.
With Ron Wilson as coach, they will probably finish first in their group, then be leading Slovakia 4-2 in the third period of their first medal round game, blow the lead, and lose the game 5-4 and get eliminated.
At least that is what happened to the Wilson Sharks each year.
You know, you're right! I've never seen or played hockey before in my life. What am I doing on this forum? Where is the High School Musical forum? Where am I? How do I use this? This isn't the oven...
Seriously though, those 'plays' are pretty retarded and just sounds like a 2 year old banging around on some pots and pans.
eh ... why are you so intimidated? , i hope i didn't hurt your feelings, it wasn't my intent
if you're a player you may even have done some plays, and even though it takes some skills to make them happen in top level game situations it never hurts to try
team usa has some grit, but also some small players with skills in parise, kane and kessel ... it's a good team
If you're going to add Langenbrunner to the team (which I think they should, for the Leadership), he has to play on Z Parise's line. The chemistry between the 2 is incredible.
to the person that said rafalski shouldn't be on the team.
