You post a link to a message board thread that quotes a David Shoalts article and call it fact? Why not throw something in there from Ek and Garrioch while you're at it... but make sure it's quoted third-hand (like in someone's Twitter feed or something like that)...

The only fact is that there's about a zero chance in hell of Craig MacTavish coaching the Coyotes.

You have a pretty funny idea of what makes something a "fact". I live in Phoenix, and know exactly how this idiotic rumor was started. I also know it was addressed by Wayne Gretzky, himself, and squashed beyond all doubt. What I can't figure out is how anybody could have actually believed such blatently obvious false information. That seven million dollar figure is just so incomprehensibly far-fetched, I haven't the faintest idea how anyone could have possibly, even for just a moment, allowed themselves to even consider it something other than totally fantastical, let alone having the slightest chance of being a "fact".
