Need Information Regarding Montreal, Can Anyone Help?

Hello guys, Me and some buddies are attending a concert at the Cepsum, of the University of Montreal on April 17th. We plan to drive up, but are wondering what hotels or bars are nearby. Were looking to pay roughly 75-150 for the night, and the closer the better. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it, as I am not to familiar with Montreal. Thanks in advance!

Use priceline. You can get ridiculously good prices at really nice hotels when you do the 'name your own price' thing.

The only down side is that you can only specify the general area. You can't pick a specific hotel.

hotels not far from the CEPSUM are pretty much inexistent...

you can get 150-175 per night at the holiday inn downtown and its easy to go to the area of the cepsum by metro..metro system is easy and its not crazy far by taxi..

like the other poster said..check priceline and expedia too etc..

Depends what kind of bars you frequent

Either way the metro will be the best mode of transport.

I used Priceline last year and ended up at the 4-star downtown Sheraton for something like US$ 90 all-in. Another time I got the Delta for $80. Both rooms were fine and enormously discounted.

Choose downtown as your district. Try 4-star and work your way down. Give yourself a couple of days to fool around with it--there's a bit of a knack to it.

Yeah, I live in the area. There are no hotels around CEPSUM at all. If you're driving up, then (like everyone else had said) get a hotel downtown. Cepsum is about 20-30 minutes from downtown, depending on what route you take and where your hotel is.
