I get the smugness. This is their faith man. They eat, sleep, and breathe hockey and they were for many years the best team in the league, bar none. Hockey to them is football, baseball, hockey and every combined sport and leisure activity to Californians.

You could probably **** a hot chic from EDM and talk puck (i.e., hold a conversation) at the same time...and it's ok...that's how they roll...

Meh, don't bring logic into this. I don't care. They are mostly smug ***** that walk around like they are the chosen people. They will go out of their way to put you down everytime even though they have little to be smug about anymore. So, if the Kings have an opportunity to end their team's playoff hopes, I support it. I like the team, but I have no special love for them and care very little about their playoff hopes.

"He tripped him and he may have gone down easily-- it may have been a dive-- but i feel you have to call that"

Is that what I just heard? So he admits it is questionable and possibly a dive but should still be a penalty?

The colour guy is the Rob Brown and it's a PPV game. The homerism is to be expected.

How many times is this jackass going to mention that we are done and not making the playoffs? So he says that we are done and have no chance at making the playoffs and then carries on to say that the only way we will win the hockey game is by putting bodies in front of the net... As if they are somehow linked.

I am glad. Throw this jabbering man in the sarlacc pit. Welcome to a mediocre offseason and the end of your broadcasting season.

I think he was saying that the Kings were showing heart. That they are out of the playoffs but willing to block a hard shot.

I think he was trying to make some kind of point about our guys' willingness to take Souray's shot away in a nothing game.

Doesn't really matter if he says we're done. We're done in Edmonton. And so are the Oilers.

Did he just, again, say that they can't be happy losing to the lowly kings?

Bwahahaha. St. Louis is up 4-1 in the second. Good. I hope they make the playoffs. Maybe there is something the Kings can learn from St. Louis. Cheers to St. Louis!

How many times is this moron going to use the phrase that the Oilers "should have won"? DIAF. Seriously. D. I. A. F.

'When you play the Kings, you should have won'

Boy I am enjoying this win more and more. Burn Edmonton

That part is good... Leafs TV has them all beat though. They put on a great broadcast.

Looks like the Kings get the ire of Oilers fans all season, as they apparently put the final nail in the coffin of the Oilers playoff hopes tonight (assuming STL holds on to win).

Not as sweet as when the Dodgers knocked the Giants and their 103 points out of the playoffs before the wild card was added, but after listening to their color guy all game, I am happy the Kings won.

I give them credit. I always thought they were behind schedule on their rebuild compared to us, but the standings show otherwise.
