This was probably the worst case scenario: no tank, no feel good win.

The Avs are only a point ahead of them. A single win would suffice, so long as the Avs start playing down to the level we know they are capable of playing again.

and looks like 3rd to last for us, don't think tampas gonna catch up, so looks like taveras, duchene or MSP
Boods looked great tonight, didn't he? He actually made some scrambling saves and it looked like he was fired up. Nice change of pace for him.

Oh wow, we are only 1 point ahead of them.

Their final game of the season is against Atlanta...but we play the Turco-less Stars soon.

Really? The best team in the league couldn't score against us in regulation?

If he puts up numbers in the NHL like he is now, I would love him

Should I make you an Evander Kane avatar? Or would that drop us even further?

No, I think he will be a player. Hard worker, hard hitter, and has a good shot. I don't know why people don't think it will translate to the NHL. The NHL is 75% work ethic and Kane already has a strong one. I think the difference between him and a player like MSP is that at the worst Kane will be a 3rd line player. Whereas if MSP doesn't make it as an offensive player, he won't stay in the NHL.

I was proud of the team last night -- that was a game everyone here assumed (and wished) we'd lose, but it did feel really good to see us play hard and frustrate a much better team.

If we get 4th, I'd go with Cowen, Kane, Schenn, or MSP in that order.
