I feel bad for you sometimes.

Well played!!!

With the luxury of a couple hours since I watched the game (i.e. a little time to calm down and reflect objectively), I thought it was a pretty entertaining game overall. Obviously, the outcome wasn't what I was hoping for, but it was fun to watch. The refs apparently forgot that the Flyers were on the ice after the whole Carcillo shenanigans, and just let the guys play. Yes there were missed calls, but they went both ways as far as I could tell. Lots of back and forth action. They'd hem us in our zone for a while, then we'd bring it right back to their zone for a while. It doesn't even seem like there were that many icing calls. We still got a point (which is nice ). We still don't look like a team ready (defensively anyway) to go deep in the playoffs (Matt Carle, I'm looking at you. Make the simple pass goddammit!!!), but anything is possible.

That's it from me. Thank you, and good night.

The 9th place Panthers have four games left and can at most get 95 points and 42 wins. While the Flyers and Hurricanes both currently have 95 points, the Canes have 44 wins, the Flyers only 42. The Panthers can not get a better record than the Hurricanes even if the Canes lose all the remaining games.

However, if the Flyers lose all remaining games and the Panthers win all remaining games, it would come down to the season series between the two clubs as a tiebreaker and the Panthers have won that series already (even though there is still a game remaining in it).

We need one more point to clinch a playoff spot.

We need to start shooting the puck in shootouts,

Gags has one move that he keeps going to, really hard to guess...

I believe that nobody is or should be worried at this point about getting into the postseason... What I am worried about is going into it ready to do some damage and make some noise. Needless to say, if they'd fail to get that one point, there is slim to no chance that the Flyers would have made it past one round... I want to see a mindset where the Flyers play a sixty minute game and Biron is in his zone where he again controls rebounds in a way that allows him to greatly reduce those cheap goals against. I honestly believe that this young team is the kind of team that will sleepwalk through periods of time before they consider throwing the switch... They can get by a season doing this, but it would be very difficult to get through a playoff round with that mentality.

The time is now to begin to play smart playoff hockey... I only hope that they understand that and find some needed consistency to go along with their talent.

A lot late but here was my take. I was 4 rows behind the Sens bench on Saturday and it didn't seem as though Carcillo said much at all until he got tossed. Unless, he originally got a 10minute misconduct and then started going bat**** crazy. It was really weird as I think he just kinda skated back to the bench after serving his penalty. I think this was more of a reputation call than an actual call. It's too bad too because I was looking forward to watching him and Neiler go at it.

He's a good looking guy, and...oh...he's a millionaire.

How's those two reasons?

I forgot it was all about looks when it came to meeting the right person. Nevermind the fact that he's a really nice guy, works overtime for charity, works hard at his job........

Sorry if I sound 'gay'...

Yeah, Mike Comrie...he's hardly ugly, IMO. He's a good looking guy.

You'd have a large head too, if you were dating Hilary Duff.

Haha, except it's not his ego I'm talking about - I'm being literal. His head looks like an orange on a toothpick.
