Nobody has been recalled for Parent yet, so I take it he's playing.

I seem to be the only one here not wanting to face the Canes...

Don't get be wrong, making the Rangers miss the playoffs would probably be one of the best things to ever happen to the Flyers... I just don't like going into the playoffs knowing we're playing probably the hottest team in the NHL right now.

I personally want the Pens in round 1. But either way you look at it, we are gonna have to face good teams to win a Cup...

To be the best, you must beat the best.

There's one thing I know for sure, if we have to play the canes, I want home ice.
They are on fire at home.
This is a HUGE game for us.

BTW, if the Sens should somehow beat the Debbies tonight in reg, I like our chances to win the division.
Where is that Sens-Devs game?

Psyched for this one! Heading to MSG after work to watch with my buddy who is a Sabres fan. He needs the Rags to lose this to keep the Sabres' playoff hopes alive, so he's going to be rooting for the "hated Flyers" hehe.

The Caps were arguably the hottest team heading into the playoffs last year and we handled them. I'm not worried about who we face until the playoffs are here. Let's just win these games we have left and lock up home ice. Who we'll play will be who we'll play, you can't really control what happens in other games.

Syrvet was recalled right after the game the other night if I am not mistaken. Maybe he was sent back down for last nights Phantoms game and not recalled. Not too sure.

Anyway I will be driving home from school for this one, so I am going to miss the entire thing. Luckily for me I got XM so I will be able to listen to it.

I hope Philly finishes them off tonight in style.

A 5-1 drubbing would be nice.

Looks unlikely for him to play tonight.

Flyers coach John Stevens said it's unlikely Parent will play tonight.

"We don't want to have a slight injury turn into a serious injury that keeps him out long-term," Stevens said.

If Parent cannot play, he's likely to be replaced in the lineup by Phantoms defenseman Danny Syvret, who has played two games with the Flyers this season.

Meanwhile, rookie defenseman Luca Sbisa could be joining the Flyers for the playoffs. Sbisa's junior team was facing playoff elimination Wednesday night and is eligible to join the Flyers once his season is over.

But because Sbisa's salary would put the Flyers over the salary cap, he would join the Phantoms for their season finale on Saturday and be added to the Flyers' playoff roster on Monday.

"If we're in a situation where we need a guy, he'll definitely get some consideration," Stevens said. "There's no question we'd have the confidence to put him in if we need him."

Playing another desperate team, but the Flyers need to be just as desperate. A loss tonight coupled with a Carolina victory will make it very difficult to secure home ice.

To update that article, Lethbridge was eliminated last night.

I want to knock these guys out of the playoffs just so that overly drunk, obnoxious a-hole that followed us out of MSG last month can go cry in his beer!

Who is the Mem. Cup host team this year, Rimouski? They automatically make the "final four"?
