I am in Montreal for Saturday's game...I am just looking for a place near downtown(staying at the sheraton) that is a good atmosphere for watching the Habs game tonight. Looking for a spot that would have a lot of people watching the game and reasonable priced drinks.
Put Dandenault with Pleks and AKost, then put Laraque on the 4th. No need for D'Agostini at this point.
I understand that we want Laraque in the lineup but let's face it,Lucic will not fight him and neither will Thornton IMO.Laraque will hurt us more then help us tonight since the bruins will have the last change and he is going to be matched up against the Savard line who beat us last time around in Montreal with Lucic scoring the goal and Laraque looking
There hasn't been any word whether Wideman will play tonight but he missed Tuesday's game against Ottawa after taking a number of hard shots off the body over the weekend. It appears as though Julien is going to play things safe with anyone who is dinged up since the #1 seed is wrapped up. The feeling is that Wideman could play tonight if need be but he'll probably be rested until the weekend.
On a related note, Boston called up Vladimir Sobotka this morning indicating that Chuck Kobasew might miss the game as well. Kobasew didn't practice yesterday so Julien will likely give him the night off also.
thanks for the info!
schneider in the line-up???
i just hope he doesn't take a hit that hurts him even more. I see it as a vet that knows he doesn't have many more years so might as well leave it all on the ice. GO HABS GO!!!
B's fan here.
Gotta give it to Scheid, the guy has heart. Lots of it. Anyone who loves hockey can/should appreciate his effort.
He's fare game. I expect some tough play tonight.
I doubt he's going to play much at ES. I'd expect him to play strictly PP and have Dandenault play as a 7th D tonight. Defenseman on the PP don't take much physical punishment. Now this is just my assumption, it could be wrong.
