I was just watching TSN, I check around their site for sources, couldn't find it, but they said something like this: Leclaire started to take pucks from teamates, and wouldn't be ready untill possibly this saturday vs the Maple Leafs?
One of the silliest things I've heard. As if he won't need a month to get back into game shape, let's toss him into a meaningless game - with the potential to get nasty - just to tempt fate.
Dude, I don't know how you could have misunderstood what was said there, it was so clear that Garrioch said "Leclaire won't be ready before Saturday's season finale vs Toronto, but it's an encouraging sign for training camp in September"
No offense but wow did you ever botch this one. I got so excited yet shocked at the same time when I saw the title of the thread.
Good to see Leclaire taking shots and I'm sure he's starting to full good, but after an aggressive summer of training, working out, going over technical stuff I think he'll be as good as ever come September.
I hope he plays and gets lit up, purely for entertainment value. I'd love to laugh at the over reaction from all the negative whiners in here. They'd tell us all summer long about how big of a mistake aquiring Pascal was, based on 1 game.
i personnally don't want him to play, because incase some one's out there to get him, "especially if it's Toronto..." Goaltending interference would suck
I'm praying that Leclaire doesn't even come close to playing any game(s) until next September, let him rest up, rehab during the summer and be 100% for training camp and hopefully that'll be the last we hear of any injury from him.
