Why is there such a huge discrepancy between those 2 lists??

On the bright side though, McDonagh is 18th on the list.

I have the book , he is in the top 15

No need to cry about that list. GM's aren't looking at it to see if they should trade or not for a prospect. They probably used the list of Les Canadiens page on HF and decided to list the first two.

In fact, it's not really not having Subban on that list that makes no sense. It's more the absence of Weber that I find weird. The guy is one of the top offensive D-man at 20 years old in the AHL.

If McDonagh at this rank is sitting at the right place, then we have an amazing young D-corp, specially with the Russians... if they ever come here to play.

Alex Pietrangelo is the top prospect.
PK is a year older, but the last WJC Alex was on the bench while PK was lining up in key situations.

I agree! It's an important fact to think about. He will simplify his game once he turns pro, but he will still be great offensively. And some say his spinoramas won't work at the NHL level, but our own Markov use that trick often this year, and the opposition can't do anything about it. He has it all to succeed. We just need to wait and see how it will turn out. I just hope we won't lose him in a trade this summer.

If Chip would not be totally 100% useless I would agree with you.
