2nd/3rd

It gets Ottawa the puck moving defensemen they need and Toronto 2 nice prospects. Im thinking that Ottawa wants Karlsson to become their Kaberle.

Anyways, Flame Away.
Erik Karlsson
Defense
Born May 31 1990 -- Landsbro, Sweden
Height 5.11 -- Weight 165

Absolutely not, the kid is smaller than 165 pounds anyways. If this kid is Ottawa's future maybe might as well move the team before they lose all value

Erik Karlsson 2009:

Erik Karlsson 2010:

Book it!

I wouldn't bother reading too much into stats that haven't been updated since he started the year with Frolunda. After his summer training this season, I'm expecting that he's put on weight. He is visibly larger from when he started the season.

Nik Kronwall was smaller than Karlsson when he was drafted and he seems to be doing alright for himself.

I've just never been a big Kaberle fan at all to be honest. Not too sure why.

blah blah blah. I've always said here on hf people overrate prospects and draft picks. Just like the Leafs with Schenn, Stefanovich and DiDo.

That's like saying what has Tavares done to be mentioned in the same sentence as Crosby. I'm basing this on my opinion of Kaberle and Karlsson, I don't care what he's "proven". I don't claim to be a professional talent analysis.

You feel he's overated? Ask the scouts and ask all the GM's calling Snow about the 5th overall pick.
