Komisarek a dirty player? (figuratively, of course)

Is Komisarek dirty? You bet and he wouldn't be half the player he is if he didn't play like that.
yes... but accepting that we have to rights to blame Lucic, Thornton or Chara for last game, gotta be faire, tese players are also better because they have a dirty edge.

No problem with that. Chara and Lucic are both mean and dirty and it's an important part of their game. Lucic would be an unremarkable player without it and Chara wouldn't be nearly as effective or intimidating. As for Thornton that's all he's got. If he didn't play like that he wouldn't be in the NHL.

They're not better because they have a dirty edge, they're more hated because of that.
Chara is good because he knows how to use his size to his advantage, skates very well for such a huge guy, has good vision and a bullet shot.
Lucic is the pure definition of a powerforward. He's big, aggressive, quick and has some pretty decent hands/shot. Still needs to protect the puck better around the boards, but does it well nonetheless.

Thornton is a 4th liner. His job is to fight, hit and intimidate players.

But the fact Lucic would grab someone's face from behind and drop him doesn't make him better at all.
Chara beating/punching someone unwilling to fight doesn't make him better.

They build their reputation, but their dirty edge isn't what makes them better IMO. Skill is what makes them better.

Komisarek is no where near as dirty as Chara, and has never pulled a stunt like Lucic did the other night.
I remember that play. I couldn't believe Chara wasn't suspended for a LONG TIME. That player is not just dirty, he is a dangerous idiot who thinks that a street or a bar fight has the same rules as than a NHL game. He may be 6'9 and got long reach and naturally gives some elbow in other players' faces, but he plays like he is in a Slap Shot movie. If the referees let him play like that again and again, I bet he'll kill somebody sooner than later.

Yeah it's would be like Laraque charging Marc Savard and machinegunning him with punch in the face.(Chara punching Koivu)

If i remember the Raitis vs Chara incident. Raitis fell on Chara and someone was holding raitis arms .. Chara punched him in the face when raitis was falling on him.

Lucic look like a thug .
