Haha well they need a backup plan with all the smack they have been talking on these boards.

Honestly I would play Pleks on the 4th line and play Metropolit on the 2nd line. Pleks is just too soft. He hasn't won a single battle for the puck along the boards this season.

We went from being a 4th place team for most of the year, to dropping to 8th place. How did this ever happen? Could of made it a lot easier on ourselves if we finished 4-7.

I think MTL will win in 6.

Boston is the only top team I didnt wanted MTL to face because of their historical inferiority complex against the Habs.

Someone can bookmark this and hold me accountable.

If the Boston Bruins win the Series, I will toxx myself from HFBoards. No more account. An admin or mod can either suspend my account or just let me leave on my own. No questions asked. Habs don't win four games in the Seven game series, I'm gone.

I have seen enough bruins-habs series to know that where they finished and how they played during the season means squat. If that was the best the Bruins could offer on thursday night, and it sure seemed like it, then the habs can take them out. I think BG knows that and is why he essentially threw the game tonight by resting the top guys and playing the 3rd and 4th line all night. I don't even think it will be long. Habs stun them in 5 with a split in boston and a sweep at home to finish them off in OT in Boston. This team has seriously underperformed this year, and the Bruins have had a dream season like last year's Habs. If they play to their talent level, they should take care of them.

could work..metro has decent hands too and works along the boards

dont know the bruins 4th line but pleks speed could be more of a factor there

I think so too. The Habs are just not playing well and Price is kinda iffy lately even if he had a good game tonight.

Also I don't even feel like watching in a way.. Boston for what, 4 playoffs now? WSH woulda been more fun.

Good post, I agree with it. We got to OT the other night and the only reason we lost was a stupid mistake by Lapierre, after they already had clinched. Tonight, we were resting pretty much so no, I don't mind that we get destroyed.

A week ago when we were on fire, everyone would of said we will own the Bruins. It's funny how a couple of losses change everything for our fans.

Are you serious? Please tell me how you seriously think that Boston will be gooning the series up having in mind to give as many PP's to the Habs as possible. Last game was fun for them. Was just a punching bag exercice not caring at all of the outcome of the game.....and even ended up winning in the process. While Markov would be helpful, even with him I don't see how we could win, and it has nothing to do with the record between each team. But entirely based on how we play as a team. On how we play hard, how we pay the price, how we're tough and dedicated and this was never our identity and it's not going to chance in a season when it's going to get tougher.

And I don't believe Price is ready to bail out this average defense ahead of him. Price is just not there yet. While I could imagine to see AKost playing much better, I don't expect Plekanec to do it. I expect the Koivu line to be persecuted and the Lappy will do the best they can with the talent they have.

There is no reason for us to win......doesn't mean it won't happen, stranger things have happened, but I don't believe it. I'll be behind my team like I always was, is and will be. But at one point, reality needs to kick in. I mean take every matchup east and west this year and really you can find great reasons for every team to be beaten against the other team they're playing against. Unless the sole reason to beat the Bruins is Thomas, well you can probably think it will be enough, but not this year. It was barely enough last year, can you imagine with a better team, a more confident one? Sure they'll be playing with expectations, but Julien will handle that, he's a better coach than people thinks he is.

Anyway, let just hope it will be fun.

Even after we win, we'll be counting the injured bodies on both sides.

This is gonna get to be more than just hockey.

Based on Thursday's game, I don't believe the Bruins will be able to keep their heads leveled and will end up beating themselves.

Habs in 6.

OT in 7? You actually really want both fanbases to have heartattacks?

Sorry but I'm still wondering who the heck on our side will inflict them some injuries....As far as our team is concerned, well you are totally right.

I don't think I would be able to handle a game 7 OT loss.
