According to TSN, he could be back for the 2nd round, could you imagine if this was part of BG's bag of surprises and Lang jumped on the ice along with Markov on Thursday !

Dont forget, it wasnt a complete tear so it is not as bad. It will all depend on his rehab which is going on right now. With him on the line up, were a different team; Pleks doesnt have to be a top 2 center, less pressure on the 1st line, size down the middle and suddenly the center position looks like a strength. I ont know if he have enough in the tank to make it but if we pass the first round healthy with Markov and Lang coming back, this team can beat anyone.

Im going to be on a beach in the Dominican for the first round, and if that were to happen, and the news makes it to me, my heart will stop from excitement. Maybe Bob has him skating secretly . Unrealistic, but still, I hope he has some tricks up his sleeve

Even if Lang did come back how effective would he be?
Has he been working out?
Can he work out?

If - emphasis on "IF" - Lang returns to the habs line up this year how long would it take him to get back into playoff game shape?

I wouldn't expect any miracles!

If Lang comes back, then play plekanec on the wing..
Metropolit > Plekanec

I've always thought that in a perfect world, pleks would be a winger if we had the proper center depth.

Schneider wasnt coming back also...As long as we dont get the official from him and doctors, a comeback is still possible. BTW, Lang himself said he would try everything to comeback this year. Like ive said, it wasnt a complete tear so it will all depend on his rehab.

What a tease!

Tanguay - Koivu - Kovalev
S. Kost - Lang - A. Kost (loved this line while it was together)
Gui - Lappy - Kosto
Stewart - Pleks - D'Ago

?

Better that way.

But whatever, it's not happening. Lang isn't coming back this season.

Well, I know im just speculating, but just thinking about it...

- His cut was said to be very clean, thus easy to surgically re-attach.
- His surgery was right after the tear, thus reducing recovery time and increasing chances of successful surgery.
- Lang was in newspaper awhile ago, on crutches but doing movements to recover faster. "If everything goes according to the rehab protocol, it could be 10 weeks, 12, maybe 14, who knows."(Feb 1st) We're now approximately week 10-11. Not to mention, the new equipment such as whirlpool, etc., should help with the recovery time.

I'm was getting more and more excited with each line I read. Now I'm totally convinced he'll be back.

Well a lvl 1 Habs cleric should heal 8+1 HP if he casts faith healing. If we gather a bunch we should restore Lang completely! As a lvl 15 scoring center Lang with a constitution of 16 he probably has a bunch tho (15x1d8+45), so it could take a while. Is anyone powerful enough to cast "Heal"? It would be much more powerful, just look in the players handbook! Faith healing is in the spell compendium, well worth the 50 bucks

I bet I'm the only one here getting my own post, shameful (for me )
