as a Pens fan, I don't see why the Rangers would care about this game at all and I don't see why they'd want to give the Pens out of any team, home ice advantage... especially since they may have to play down the road...

I was thinking the opposite would be better for us. I mean who would you rather play down the road...Philly or Pitt? I like our chances (slightly) better against Philly, so them having home ice vs. the Penguins could help them win their first round series.

Avoid the injury risk....

Orr - Betts - Bell
Avery - Dubinsky - Callahan
Didomente - Sugden - Voros
Sjo - Korpedo - Rissmiller

Morris - Denisov
Fahey - Mara
Girardi - Staal

Vally

That would be great fun to watch!
The Broad Street Bullies chased outta their own arena...
i am sure DaGoon and co would luv this too
And Bettman would pee in his pittsburgh penguine panties

now that they know theyre in, maybe the pressure will be off allowing them to play a really up tempo offensive game.

we can really light it up today...

1 series at a time.. but IF we win, we'll probably end up playing Boston and you guys would play NJ.

NJ NYR semifinal?
yea, I'm dreaming... this post never happened btw

and anyway, it's better to go into the postseason riding a winning streak!

I think you mean ECF...as the semis are the 2nd round, right?

Two words: John Tortorella

If this team takes a shift off he's going to flip his lid.

Also, for those of you calling for a million call ups and resting guys, what has this team done that warrants them doing that?

We've been inconsistent all year long.

Winning a game in Philadelphia (on the road no less where we've been awful) going into the playoffs would do way more for this team than one game of rest for X player.

Hey, as a pens fan we need you to win tonight so we can get home-ice against Philly. So I just came by to say good luck and good luck in the playoffs.

Voros back? Noooooooo

He will probably score a hat trick and then Torts will use him in the playoffs.
