TGIO. I love this team and have great hope for the future (not necessarily near) but this year sucked. Thankfully my beloved Washington Huskies football team set me up to be able to weather such a horrible season.

Nothing left but the crying. And if Eric Lacroix really is the next GM there will definitely be a lot of tears.

Who else is super stoked on next year?! Start fresh, hopefully some better players in the lineup (Stoa, Galardi, mayyyybe Duchene?) Either way im excited about the draft.

Well, lets just try to erase this season from our minds. It will be a lot easier to do if Granato and Giguere are gone. Bye bye Raycroft, byebye Arnason (where is that guy? did Granato finally see the light?). Just one more year of Clark and Tucker awfulness. if they have limited ice-time I think I can endure that. Hello new draft pick, healthy Stastny, a year of Galiardi, Vernace (who has been spectacular IMO), Stewart and a well handled Hensick ( I hope). It may be a re-building year, which is fine, as long as the caoch is able to maximize what each player brings to the table, something Granto was never able to do.

Would certainly be surprising, if we draft him, to see Duchene in the NHL next season outside of a quick tryout. Likewise, I'd imagine Stoa and Mercier start off in LEM but maybe if either has a good camp and/or injuries occur...? Galiardi looks like a keeper though.

Anyways, I'm not sure if we should be very excited. The management and coaching may continue being grim, and it could be another horrible season. Still, it's a little early. Miracles can always happen, and we might find some competence behind the bench all of a sudden.

One step at a time. Come on, lottery...don't screw us over! Anything but dropping back to 4th!

Not me. Not to be a downer, but we're stuck with alot of crappy players like Tucker and Clark.

But hey, maybe we'll actually make the playoffs under different coaching; stranger things have happened.

Galiardi has impressed me. Kid could be very good if he keeps improving.

Just a quick question....does anyone know if a fan actually accepted a sweater from Tyler?

Just got home and watched the post-game. It sure did seem like Mike and Peter were trying to talk a lot and cover up the part where Tyler went out. In fact, they cut back and started showing visuals of the studio...but you can see that one unlucky fan did indeed "win" an official gameworn "ICETURD."

I wonder how much that thing can make on ebay...if she actually changes the nameplate to "ICETURD" will the value go up? It is autographed after all.....

So he is alive after all? Well that would probably be the last time he will step on NHL ice again. I'd be shocked beyond belief if any team signs this guy in the summer. But look what happened to Raycroft...

Meh....If we had a #1 goalie, Raycroft would've been fine and mostly fiscal pickup this season. The same could be said for Budaj. I guess we have another thread to discuss that fiasco in though.
