you mean the league that produced epic busts like Fortier, Voracek, Crosby, Frolik, Brassard, Latendresse, Lapierre Krejci and Giroux?
Well... I can't say I'm shocked...
-------
All triviality aside, I am quite surprise to see that people around here are so scared of drafting a quebecer in the first round... Maybe we drafted an utter bust in Chouinard, but other drafted quebecer who developped well... like a certain Gagne or Bergeron...
I'm supposed to be impressed by Fortier? Look at the real CHL leagues, like the Dub and the O. Not only should you look at the players coming out of those leagues, but take a gander at a game once in awhile.
Well his developmnent hasn't been what we expected (because of illness this year), but he still managed 13 points in 30 games.
My point is, 2 years after drafting a player at the age of 16 is way, way too early to call him a bust.. But looking at CanadienErrant's track record, that comment wasn't too surprising...
I agree his development has not been what was expected, this year he didn't have an illness, that was his freshman year (throat), this year it was a injury (I want to say ankle but I'm at work so I can't really look it up) that said he's made good progression each year, just that I would hope that he would be more dominate, improve his offensive production (which he did but i'd like to see more) and work on his physical game cause there's not much to it at this time.
Calling him a bust is just lazy imo, so I agree with you there. You have to learn how to weed out the people that make off base comments that likely haven't even been following said player they are making comments on, it makes life simpler around here imo.
I didn't say they produce more busts, just that they tend produce the type of player that we have too many of. High grade imports aside (the Q can thank Kladno), the pickings tend to be slim in terms of blue-chips who play a complete game. The proof is in the pudding, boy.
so basicly you say that its the nationality, not the league they play in that makes the complete player??
Shows what you know. The Q isn't limited to Canadian Quebecers.
And language does not constitute a race...
And?, you just posted that, if there were not of the euros, the Q's would not create complete players, so by association, you just catalogued quebecers as soft incomplete players... and that's racist boy
Hey Bigtimer, how was life between your last banning and now?
thank you for pointing that out people around here like to use the racist term for no reason at all
It's part of the Napoleon complex.

Hahahahaha. You do know that plenty of non-Quebecer Canadians play in the Q? Even Giroux, who you listed in your very own post, is from Ontario. Do you plan on ever getting something right?
Oh, the Carter vs. Kostitsyn reference was just made to illustrate how much you know.
Keep trying to back your way out of this ownage... it's not working.
ownage? you just displayed how much you didn't knew about the Q, Thinking the Sault St-Marie Greyhounds are part of the Q is comparable to say that Patrick Marleau talks french because well... his name sounds like it

Says the guy who just found out that non-quebecer Canadiens are allowed to play in the Q. Just quit while you're behind, you're not getting anywhere.
