The fact still remains that i'd take him on my team cause he's a exceptionnal talent. Let Gionta test the free agent market and give Radulov a 3-3.5M$ or even a 4M$ contract for 5 years.
$2 million tax free would be close to $4 million in North America. Radulov did leave for more money. The other guy was wrong.

Grabovski is born in Germany to Belarussian parents, he lived his whole life in Belarus and has Belarussian citizenship (he also plays for them in tournaments). Of course Belarus =/= Russia so your point stands.

I still don't see why Radulov would want to come back. He gets paid more on the bottom line there than he would here and he gets to play closer to home. Yeah, it's sketchy to bounce on the final year of a deal but that happens from there to here so it's not the end of the world.
If I'm the Predators, I would take him back and trade him. Yes, you won't get a lot but you can't bring him back into that locker room with that group of guys. They won't be as forgiving regardless of whether he's right to do so or not.
Loyalty is an issue to an extent here. The organization has to have guys that want to be there. If they show they don't like Radulov did, you can't just let him walk out on your team and then let him back in because that sets a terrible precedence.

Really this opinion seems to be a vocal minority, and ironically not even from Nashville fans. Most people have a more even handed approach with it so you can't really say the NA crowd is hypocritical.
I love Radulov as a player, but do not know him as a person. I think his celebrations after each goal were awesome!! He brought a TON of excitement to the team, it was great! But that was brutal when he gave Arnott a concussion!! I was so mad about that, but I know he probably would not ever do that again.
I think he should come and play, but I imagine he will get traded because I do not think he would re sign with the preds after his one year is up. He will be heading probably Detroit, Toronto, New York Rangers, way hopefully for something useful, all will depend on how he plays, but I imagine he fetches a fair price.
I hope he comes back to the NHL. He's an awesome talent and I want to see him play over here. I don't agree with what he did. But he's certainly not the first player to do something like that. Also, that article was more that the coach would welcome him back and the players might not. It didn't offer anything that made me think he was actually coming back. Kind of disappointing.
