Boston media looking foward for the 2nd round.

They say it's gonna be quick and takes cheap shots at the Habs.

Most media is biased around here to be honest....as biased as Jack Edwards(the announcer of the bruins) sounds, hes actually quite fair when talking hockey. When he calls the game, he just gets caught up in the emotion. He called the series going deep(which i agree).

There either payed to be homers or people who just trash the hell outta the teams.

That's what it is to them. They have absolutely no idea what it means to win the Stanley Cup. They've seen the Stanley Cup Finals. They've even see First Overall Draft Picks. But the Cup? Pish posh.

Beating the Canadiens is the only thing they have that feels like winning a silver cup with names on it. Afterall, you have to really search for those Bruins victories. The ones with Montreal on it are everywhere.

Your kidding me if you think that Jack Edwards is a fair announcer. The guy creams over anything regardless if its actually happening or not. He is without a doubt the biggest homer in all of hockey. He's just plain horrible.

4 words for the Bruins and city of Boston

Boulevard

The road to the cup is full of disasters waiting to happen.

Bostonians should know better after 37 years.

As an example, he should listen to the guys at MSG. When their boys do something wrong, they call it. They have no problem getting hyped for a Montreal goal.

Jack Edwards reminds me of the guys who used to do the Fox Sports PBP for Detroit. They would get extremely depressed if the opposing team scored and one time, after a Forsberg goal, actually said, "This isn't right. Forsberg shouldn't have one up on the Wings. They've played so hard they deserve this game more than the Avalanche."

Well they are use to winning with their other professional teams. Just imagine if the Habs didn't exist, the Bruins would have won plenty of championships.

For the Bruins really to do anything, they have to always go through the Habs.

Can't wait for some playoff hockey, I hope the Habs bring every ounce of effort to smash the Bruins and make their 1st place season one they will try and forget...

All I know is if the Habs win this series, it will be one of the biggest upsets in hockey history. Listening to the games tonight they are all saying Bruins take it. And if the Habs do...it will be a big EPIC FAIL on the part of the Bruins.

Has the Boston media not heard of the word professionalism? I can't believe them even pay some of these guys. No wonder some of the fans act like they do.

I heard the Boston mayor took two craps today, does that mean the bruins are going to the 2nd round regardless and there should be a thread about it ?

I heard a Boston radio station say "Canadiens, suck, donkey and balls", but not all together and over the course of 5 hours. Let's make a thread!

Seriously, stop making all these whacked threads about crap. The media is the media. Are you people going to cry and say Boston sucks and make choking gifs, or are you going to blow it off and not worry about it ? This forum is annoying as **** with boston trolls and hab babies.

"I'm not from around here, and I haven't seen the rivalry in the past years..."

I stopped after that, hockey is hockey, it's up in the air...These guys don't talk like they know hockey at all.

NECN is a joke when it comes to sports coverage, especially hockey.

Yeah, like if 110%, CKAC and L'Antichambre was the purest exemple of professionalism. I mean, I hated that video, but I always want to shot me dead each time I'm listening to those local guys who are always saying bullcrap. It's a good thing Dany Dubé calm me down sometime at La Zone.

I find it funny how this guy criticizes people saying the same guys that doubt are the ones nicknaming Price, ''Jesus''.
Yet he goes on to say Carey isn't anything special.

He starts off by saying he's not from Boston and doesn't know the history. Well, maybe he should have done a little research to realize no matter how good one of the team is, a Boston/Mtl serie is always close.

The more criticized we are now, the sweeter the revenge when we beat them.

The difference is that the guys you're talking about are rarely talking positively about the local team. In fact, for many of them (including Page and Bergeron) basically give the impression that the Habs are the worst team in the NHL. So I guess the same b*llsh*# different pile.

The Bruins team doesn't deserve success...because one journalist said he thinks the Bruins will win?

Yeah...that makes sense!

Remember us last year? Most people (including media) said in 4 or 5 games. I think it's fair enough we are annoyed this year with the same attitude we had last year.
