Been in Houston, Texas since March of 03. Lost many a bets over the years regarding the Jackets making the playoffs. Glad to see them there.

Sadly, living in Houston and with ESPN not carrying the NHL, I don't watch many games any more.

I will be sporting my season 1 Jackets jersey, and watching the game with one of the guys who won the contest to name the team (ironically enough, apparently they were thinking the Indian Bluejacket, not Civil War).

My college buddy is a lifelong Canucks fan, I told him if we survive the Red Wings I'll have to fly back to catch one of the games with him.

We'll be at the ONLY hockey bar in greater Houston, Go Jackets!

I joined this forum back in 2003 but rarely post, even though I am reading the boards every day. My old username was Nasherfan61.
I moved out to Las Vegas from Newark in August of 2005 and have only been back once and that was around Thanksgiving this past year and was able to see the Jackets play Phoenix and Washington.

Haven't missed a Jackets game on TV since moving out here (Center Ice). DVR is a wonderful thing.
I really do miss being at the games as , I covered (photographed) the CBJ for a local newspaper from the first year until I moved here to Vegas in 2005. I do have daily reminders as my home office is decorated with photos I took and I can be seen around town wearing the original and third jersey as well as their old red Center Ice practice jersey.
I am so glad this day has come to be able to see the playoffs and it tears me up I cannot be there in person, but my son will be there to root for the good guys!!!

Soak it all up and relish this time. Go Jackets!!

How do you know it's **** at all? Maybe it's ****. The distinction is important to make. One suggests JF's perceived fecal nature; the other conveys Kallio's carnal desires to be realized upon JF's return.

this Oilers fan has choosen the Jackets as my default team to root for this playoff season. Hitchcock's from Edmonton, Scott Howsen is our loss and your gain. Keep an ey on Raffi Torres; he will be a monster for you guys.

If you can get by the Wings, I wouldn't be surprised if you repeat what the Oil did 3 years ago and march all the way to the finals (best 2 months of partying in all my 41 years).

GO JACKETS GO!!!!!!

The Jackets have a fever, and the only prescription is more cannon.

I'm representing from Manitoba. Lots of Jackets fans in my circle of friends. We almost organized a couple van fulls for a road trip this season but it didn't pan out. Couldn't make it out for round 1 for work reasons, but I'm planning a last minute trip if they make it to round 2.

Youngstown native living in Fishers, Indiana (Indianapolis sububrb).

My 13 year-old and I are big fans. His bedroom is done in a CBJ / hockey theme - the Marc Denis streetlight banner dominates one corner.

I may have been one of the few people happy to see Comcast take over their cable system. Because they offer Center Ice (and Extra Innings) where Insight never did. My son and I have had a blast watching the games this year.

Between this board (most lurking and reading), Center Ice and The Disptach coverage, we have been very in tune with CBJ. It used to be that the Plain Dealer was the first website I went to each day to read sports - it has been The Dispatch for the last few months.

We were hoping for a first round weekend game - between my work and his school, can't get over during the week.
