Yeah, he's been a pleasant surprise. We must resign him at all costs.

I am impressed with his skating, which is well above average for a big guy. Excellent on-ice awareness, sweet release, a beast in front of the net. Great hands, as advertised. Fits in well with the group, his imposing size up front is something we sorely lack.

Worried about his durability with the knees. Love the fact that he is responsible defensively, but he his here for his offence which can get even better.

People bash Slats, and for good reason, then he plucks this gem from TO for a second and signs a blue chip defender (Gilroy) trumping other teams' offers. He is a Torts kind of guy- so he will be back. Count on it!
