ya, dammit, just listened to Gainey. this is bad...very very bad. Did you catch him lashing out at the reporter (who apparently didn't have a sense of humour)?

they need to get another defensive player that could replace markov, that should be an issue this summer

****, JUST PLAY HIM! Gainey is getting on my nerves. Watch us go down 0-3 and he finally plays him.

It was from our very own Marc-Antoine Godin who posts here...he asked about Gainey's quote from last night about what the players needed to do, to which Gainey replied ''listen to the coach''...

Sounds like a good mourning... but it can't lead to a black friday for the Bruins, since game 5 is scheduled for saturday.

Sure, but going down 3-0 in a series is not a recoverable situation.

ok...so....it will now take a miracle performance from the goalie...like theo's game 6 in 02 + another ridiculous shot from Kovy (that's 2 now) + D corps playing like they did in game 1 (limiting chances at least) + fair reffing (if not calibrated to give as much advantage to us that they were given in the first two) + being able to convert on the PP without Markov
wow...I wish I were a fly on the wall at the meeting this afternoon

The guy has been in the league so long though, maybe he's used to it enough that he doesn't need that much practice to get back into it. He plays a cerebral game more than a speed/synchronism game anyway so maybe he can get right back in. Also it's not an injury that he can worsen if he comes back too soon. It was a freak thing so if it's fixed it is, and if he gets cut with a skate again well there's nothing anyone can do about that. Are there any precedents for players getting back in the playoffs without practicing much after being out so long?

mourning skate? Ils étaient en deuil? Who died?
Seriously, it would help the Habs' morale if nothing else if they were to return.

Better he plays game 4 healthy and for the entire game rather than pulling a Bouillon and playin 2 shifts then leaving in game 3

his injury was a 3 week injury...its already a bit over 2 weeks
this is the playoffs...man the **** up and get out there
unless its more serious than the habs have led on...in fact have they actually ever said how long he would be out for?

Apparently he re-aggravated his injury. Might have very well been the last time we see cube in a habs jersey.
