Lang skating in full equipment and Andrei Markov on the ice again.

Robert Lang is skating in equipment, shooting the puck, and he's wearing a grin a mile wide. Andrei Markov is on Bell Centre ice, as well, both guys firing on Concordia goalie Maxime Joyal.
I miss that Lang smile so much.

This team would be so much better with a healthy Bobby to push Plex out.

Make it a goat and we have a deal.

In all seriousness, if Lang can come back without re-injuring himself, regardless if he's only 75%, DO IT!! Same with Markov.

A 75% Lang and Markov is better than some of the other guys who are attempting to play!

I hope that includes you're boy Patrice

Anyways I agree with you, right now 75% of Lang is better then Plekanec and both brothers,if he can skate and the doctors says it's alright give him a try even just for some pp and couple of shifts here and there

Well Lang was scheduled to be out 12 weeks and it's been 11 weeks (yesterday) since his injury, so he's due back potentially by Game 5. I would be completely shocked if both Markov and Lang played tonight but Game 4 (maybe) and I think both could be back for sure Game 5. This team needs to find a way to win these two games in Montreal, grab the momentum and then get back two of their best players.

I have a feeling it's going to be Price. I don't agree with that, but it just seems like that would make sense from bob's point of view.

Yeah, it does. It includes everyone so far with the exception of;

Kovalev, Koivu, Higgins, Metropolit.

To a lesser extent Lapierre, Kostopoulos, Latendresse, Komisarek, Hamrlik, Gorges, and Dandenault who are all working really hard, just not performing as well as we need them too.

From the Habs I/O report, it looks like Price is the man. I don't agree with it, but I'll still cheer as hard as I ever have!

I hope we drop the "tough" act and get back to playing montreal canadiens Hockey. No more Laraque on the first line, Tanguay back with Koivu and Kovy and Pleks back with the bros. Were a fast and skilled team and we havent played our game yet. Gainey is getting trap in the Bruins game, we've always beat the bruins playing our style and it shouldnt change this year.

Crap, I really wanted to see Halak goal tonight. Hope Carey doesn't loose his cool this time.

according to Marinaro, Gainey just met the press after the practise and he had no comments about his lineup and who's in goal tonight.

pokerface Bob

this is from Habs insideout

Quote:
The coach of few words said even fewer this morning. Bob Gainey refused to divulge the name of his starting goaltender for tonight's Game 3, though Carey Price being first off the morning skate rink suggested he'd be the guy. Then again, his hasty exit might have suggested his displeasure at a decision that's already been made.

Gainey also said he'd not be discussing his roster for tonight, and had a brief "no comment" about the one-game suspension handed to Boston's Milan Lucic on Sunday.

how wrong you are, especially about Lang, the guy was already slow like a turtle and almost a liability 5 on 5, 25% slower would be a desaster.. I really doubt he will come back in this serie..

If being a liability 5-on-5 means he can be our scoring leader again next year I hope we re-sign him..

actually he is not wrong at all, you don't want Lang cause that means no more Pleks, right?

Ill miss the next 2 games at home..

Ill tape it and try to watch it later if its worth watching..

As for the lines, I think thats what Gainey should do:

Tanguay Koivu Kovy

Higgins Pleks A.Kost

Tender Laps Dago

Stewart Metro Kosto
