It'd be amazing inspiration just to see big Lang for the club.
Markov... goes without saying.

Pure madness if Lang and Markov play - I'm so glad I'll be there tonight.
Lang and Schneider .... old yet warriors.

Lang could have a Willis Reed affect if he played tonight. He doesn't need to do much; just his presence would inspire the team

Ready or not, can he be worse than Plekanec?
I think just having him dressed would be a huge inspiration for the club. Huge.

Lang'll be rusty as hell, but those two coming back -- especially Markov -- would give the Habs an actual chance.

Pure, unadulterated speculation my friend. Don't it feel good? Are you feeling the high?

well HIO is reporting lang and markov were on skates in full equipment, but doesn't mention they practiced with the team this morning.

Actually it's not speculation at all.
Speculation by us that they are playing. But the report that they skated in full equipment is true.

As much as I would love to see both of them back, they are probably not going to be ready. Bouillon tried to play and he had been skating for awhile and he lasted 4 shifts...different injuries I know, and every player is different, but our healthy guys are the ones that have to lead the way if we have any chance in hell.

The possibility of them coming back for tonight or Wednesday is great, but I really hope they're not rushing themselves. Bouillon did that and we know how that turned out... I'd hate for them to worsen their injuries.
Edit: Gainey just got off the ice and met the press; No comment on his lineup or goalie. PER Team 990

Lang's injury status
I read Lang was skating recently and was just curious to his injury status. I thought he ruptured his achilles and was out for the season. Is he out for the playoffs? If not, when will he be back?

No one really knows (of course, it is the PO's). He was only supposed to make it back if we went deep in the playoffs so the fact that he's even on skates is a surprise at this point.
I seriously doubt he plays tonight but game 4 is a possibility I guess.
