yeah but it's not gainey's fault.. the only bad move he made in my opinion was letting streti go. on paper we had a really good team, it's not his fault everybody underperformed.

I'm not sold on him. Aside from the cost, he'll be a year older, and although he's good on the PP he's slowed down too much to be a really effective Dman. I'd rather groom Weber and Subban to be the point men, replacing Schneider and Brisebois.

Some observations and comments from being at last nights game....

Our line changes were bad...I don't know how many times I counted the Bruins breaking towards our end and our lines barely coming on the ice.

The outlet passes by the Bruins were incredible. We would dump, they would throw the puck to the waiting forward at our blue line. Once again the dump and chase that we used was absolutely horrible.

BG continues to baffle me....we are down one goal in the third on a PP and he's playing TK...wtf TK! I swear both he and Carbo are mindless aliens or something.

AK looks totally lost...he brings absolutely nothing, looked bored and uninspired. Pleks tried a little here and there, but other than that he was horrible. Higgins was actually moving out there, he seems to be picking it up some the last few games at least.

Changes for next year...

AK need to go, this guy has been playing uninspired hockey. I think he may go back to Russia but that is just a guess.

Laraque...dump at all costs even if we have to pay half the salary.

Breezy, Dandy, TK (love the heart), all need to go and we need to free up some money.

Pleks...we are seeing the real Pleks here people....last year was just one of those years that everyone was gelling. Pleks is now brought back down to earth, and personally, package him up as well.

Tanqer...needs to go..soft VERY soft as butter. Offensively good, but the body is just falling apart.

Bring up the kids...I rather sit through a learning experiment then watch a bunch of gutless heartless people play this game. With all the money freed up above, sign a few players here and there....bring up the kids, let them get experience. A major change is needed, one or two changes wont matter. And for gods sake play Halak more or bring in a experienced goalie.

excellent post

Only thing I would add is that for the entire 3rd, our outlet passing was the worst I have ever seen in my life. Why make a sloppy pass to a gut that has 2 guys stuck on him ?? oh yeah, cause he won't get it

Did you guys see (I think Hamrlik) at about 2-3 minutes left in the game, in his own zone, with no pressure, and he just tried 2 or 3 horrible passes to his teammate about 10 feet away and missed them by a long shot? Almost like he was doing it deliberately
