Loyns is an interesting signing.

It would be cold not to sign him, given his surgery(ies). Then again, he works his butt off every shift, and makes a decent fourth liner, with some possible upside.

I think this signing was a classy move by the organization, although I expected him to be left out to dry.

I agree. Even if he's in the A, he's a useful call up who will give everything he has. He seems to have been a fan favourite wherever he's played too, probably because of that work ethic.

He doesnt have much size, but he def makes up for it! While this was in the A, he was quick, good hands, pretty good ice vision, and VERY chippy! I swear he played like he was 6'4, 210! ALOT of heart, good all around guy. If he works at it, I can see a solid 4th outta him, maybe some pk time too.
