Okay MSE, that last reference was way too obscure for me tonight!

I know who Billy Jaffe is. I know First Wives Club. I'm not connecting the dots.

Humour me, okay?

The best part about this game was Claude Giroux. That dude is a down right winner I'm so glad that dude is playing as well as he is because he is hope for the future.

Pretty disappointing loss but if the Pens play like they did today and Fleury does not stand on his head (and I don't think he can keep that up the rest of the way) we got a legitimate chance to still win this series.

That goal is WHY you drive the back post.

As to the game...they played well. MAF played better. Too bad they didn't show up in Game 1, and they gave away a lead in Game 2. Now you gotta go do something historic.
If having a goal go in on a feet first baseball slide, carrying the puck in with you, is not a fluky goal, I don't know what is.

The Flyers were out playing them up to that point... and the carryover effect IMO caused a let down that allowed the Pens to carry the play for the second goal.

I seriously doubt they would have counted that if Hartnell were to do it... But I'm paranoid being a long time Flyers fan.

This is my new mop. George, my friend, he gave me this mop. This is a pretty good mop. It's not as good as my first mop. I miss my first mop, but this is still a good mop. Sometimes you just hafta take what life gives ya, 'cause life is like a mop and sometimes life gets full of dirt and crud and bugs and hairballs and stuff... you, you, you gotta clean it out. You, you, you gotta put it in here and rinse it off and start all over again and, and sometimes, sometimes life sticks to the floor so bad you know a mop, a mop, it's not good enough, it's not good enough. You, you gotta get down there, like, with a toothbrush, you know, and you gotta, you gotta really scrub 'cause you gotta get it off. You gotta really try to get it off. But if that doesn't work, that doesn't work, you can't give up. You gotta, you gotta stand right up. You, you gotta run to a window and say, "Hey! These floors are dirty as hell, and I'm not gonna take it any more!"

I agree. We got some traffic in there but the shots were chosen poorly.

Our PP was terrible. I don't care how well the goalie played. We had like 14 minutes of PP, and no goals

I had John "Boy Genius" Stevens. I want Terry Murray back...

This is what I will say before I'm off for tonight and I think you guys should read:

This was like game 4 vs Washington last year. We won it in overtime and we definitely didn't deserve to at all. That took so much out of the Washington team. Even though they came back to tie it all up on us for a game 7, we still won. That's how i feel Philly is. They were the complete better team today, and we deserved to win, and we loss. Even if we mustard the heart to take it to 7, it's going to be in Pittsburgh, Bettman will probably be there, just forget about it. This was our elimination game, and folks we just lost it. Good night all. No ref excuses, no post excuses, just the team.....

Goals bounce into the net off of players ALL the time. That's the second goal in just these 4 games that Crosby has gotten by jamming the net.

Cem on...lets get serious. You drive the net to create chaos and bounces. That's a bounce.

Big question, Is does this team have the charecter and leaders to build on this effort, if so, we will win game 5, if not, we are done. No excuse for the PP to go o for.

Canes just won it with .2 seconds left WOW

I agree that driving the net is the way to go, but I dont see how youre allowed to Crocodile Mile into the goalie, pushing him into the net before the puck gets there. Just dont get it, maybe you can explain it to me, if youre not too busy cutting the tags off your new Crosby Jersey? (Im just playin, relax)

Devils just lost 4-3, Canes score with 0.2 seconds left. Brodeur got bumped out of the crease and didn't get set, Canes shoot and score. Brodeur was pissed, slashed his stick on the boards and left.

I don't know if we could have played any better and still lost.

MAF was it this game.
