If you count HabsInsideOut as the Gazette, then that's probably the best of the bunch. They can be positive or negative depending on the reality of things, but never ludicrously so. Agree or disagree with Boone, he's entertaining - and Stubbs/Hickey are usually great.

Boone is a hack, knows 0 about hockey. Hickey makes so many mistakes, it's not funny. He's usually wrong, too, except when he gets his information from La Presse.

NOW is when the media in Montreal should attack and say something.
Not cause crap every year with the team that helps you sell papers.

I'm watching the game the other night, Kovalev is tripped. A penalty is called.

Millen: 'Kovalev stepped on the puck, the ref was fooled' (sort of misquoted).
Millen: 'Hey guys can we see that again' (then they take like 3 looks at the replay)

He spent like three minutes trying to prove his insightfulness when really he's just trying to vindicate his bias.
Millen REALLY got on my nerves this series, more so than usual.

That was really strange bringing up that de Gaulle quote. I just shook my head at that.

a real weird one, but still a joke.
These dummies forget that they are working on a public network owned and subsidized by ALL Canadians, including Quebec tax payers.

The first thing that comes to mind about Milbury is when he tried to fight Mario Tremblay and Tremblay slammed his FACE on the ice and practically crushed it. That's why everytime I see Milbury I see the ice and his face. Man, I miss that era.

As far as I am concerned it is not a big deal at all, this wasn't some political statement they were having a joke. Besides Ron Maclean was pro Montreal all series (This is just like 71 thatís why I picked the Canadiens).

CBC is crap. Plain and simple. They stay with these old fossils like Cherry, Scott Oake and Bob Cole. Cut the cord already.

As for Millen, he was not pro-Bruin at all, nor pro-Hab. He was pro-Price.
All I heard for that ass-clown was, "you can't fault Price....you can't fault Price...."
A shot went off of Prices mask in game #3 and after Millen acknowledged it he says "Great save by Price!!!!!"

Moron.

Bob Cole is an old senile fart who is so confused after doing so many leaf games that in the 2002 Olympics he kept calling the Team Canada net, the Leaf net.

Cherry is just a Leaf shill that no Bruin fan is proud that he was affiliated with the organization of how he speaks of Francaphone players let alone Europeans. He shills the Leafs and jumps ship as soon as the Leafs are out.

The CBC has been crippled from with in starting with Neo-CON Paul Martins appointment of Rabinovitch to Harpers new pork barrel appointment of Lacroix(hey a french pres go figure) who donated 1000 to the conservatives last year. Nor do I like how heavily right the CBC TV is now. But under the BAD MANAGERS appointed by our good buddies Martin/Harper they have let guys like Cuthbert and Williams go losing the HNiC anthem and brought in more bruins (they could have included Gary Galley as well making it 4)

The CBC is underfunded for what their mandate is. English/French TV Radio and Internet.
CTV and Global also get funding from YOUR TAX dollars but they hardly mention it do they. Currently they cut the funding to CBC by 175 million but are giving Global 100 million to stay afloat. Despite the free market saying Global doesn't provide what canadians want. I guess Socialism does work if you are a huge corporation looking for a handout because your owners donate money to the conservative party.

I thought they were pointing out how bad the reffing was, and they were saying how "yeah we have a lot of boston guys" People have called their bluff on how pro boston they are and they admitted it.
I thought it was a funny mea culpa.

To the point where i wanna throttle him in the face for his outright bias commentating

Every penalty against Montreal got the "there it is, no doubt about it"

Then on the Boston penalties:

We get 3 looks to see if Kovalev stepped on the puck, concluding he did step on the puck using the worst camera angle that didnt even show the feet.

Kovalev is hooked down but then Millen chimes in "he helped it out with falling to the ice".

Showing the Kessel breakaway, CBC purposely freezes the image showing him off-side then Millen stating "I think he caught just enough of his blade on the line".

Declaring that Komisarek corss checked Lucic in the face and the NHL should look in to disciplinary action when it was clearly a cross check to his body.

It was never ending, I pointed it out to a friend of mine(neutral observer) while watching last Saturdays game and he was laughing the whole game on how ridiculously one-sided Millen was calling the game.

This is the same guy who started in broadcasting doing Ottawa Senator games, then sells his soul to work for Leafs TV, the same team he ripped on for the prior ten years.

Talk about zero credibility.

+1. Not sure that LaPresse is his source... but neither are a reference for anything in my books.

Meh I'm a francophone and don't really find it offensive. It wasn't a very good idea to put Don Cherry on a Quebec flag considering his history but it's not the end of the world...

LOL, I love how I enter this topic, and we see some Habs fan taking shots at the Leafs, the obsession lives on..

I know...alll three replays showed so clearly how it was a trip and not him stepping on the puck. So annoying how he tried (as you said) to prove his point (even after the first replay was so conclusive). Don't worry guys, we'll get our revenge soon enough. Next year we will look back on this as that unfortunate time we had to go to through (like the year when we lost the last game to the leafs after having a 3 goal load going into the 3rd). Things will be better. Carey will be much better. And Cherry (I actually hate stock more these days) will have to suck it

is this a hockey board or a Quebec board? Leave the political overtone out of the hockey board or it should be.
