Powe!

This guy has played great pretty much the entire series...lots of hustle and even contributing offensively. Looks like he has some real chemistry with Claude Giroux. My question is, has he played this well all season or is this sort of a breakout performance for the 23 year old from Kanata, Ontario?

He's definitely stepped it up, but the speed and energy have been there all year.

He's been a pretty solid player all year. He's had some rookie mistakes here and there, but you expect that.

As I said in the GDT - he always takes the hit to make a player and I love that about him. I think he has solid third line potential if he keeps improving.

THH!!!!! whats up man? haha but to answer you're question he has certainly stepped up his game but his work ethic and hard nosed play has been there all year.

Additionally, he has a great look with the toothless grin.

I think he could turn into a great 3rd line guy; one of which, if it happens, I'd like to see locked up for a couple years when the time comes.

He plays his best playing with Giroux and/or Richards imo. Probably because they all have a similar work ethic and hustle. The 3 of them would make one really annoying line to play against.

when we went to the flyers game in raliegh during the preseason, half of the regular flyers team stayed home. ross and powe stood out. kalinski showed spurts of possible greatness.

powe sure had hustle.

His coming-out game, to me at least, was a road win in Boston earlier this season. Was effective and showed true doggedness. To make a rough comparison, he could become a Derrick Smith-type player (played on Keenan's Flyers' teams and in following seasons).

I love Powe. I liked of what I saw out of him in pre-season. Back when they were calling him Poe. Like, Edger Allan Poe.

Just watched the highlights, wasn't around for this one, darn. So on Giroux's goal, does the pass actually get through to Powe first or just bounce to Giroux. If it did get through, wow, amazing awareness on Powe's part.

sure looked like a redirection pass to me. I like him because he just is just crazy fast. Like a canadian kapanen in the low scoring stages of his career.

Depending on our cap situation, he could very well end up in our top 9 for next year.
