I'm pretty confident the flyers will do whatever it takes to keep Richards, Carter, Giroux and JVR in Philly for the duration of their careers.

Hell, I'd give him Lupul money. Provided Holmy can stop giving it to Lupul of course.

I'm a big fan of Goppa, or The Wiz(ard) Kid, or the Magician, or anything along those lines.

All I know is I'm so jay for him.

Watching him in Hull for three years he always reminded me of Doug Gilmour. Intense, smart, exceptional vision and a little dash of nasty.

He was outstanding last year in the playoffs for the Olympiques, 51 pts in 19 games. I'm really happy that you guys like him.

you could say giroux like ger- (rick flair wooh)

I knew the kid had insane skill and playmaking ability. But the all around play, penalty killing, throwing the body. The short handed play in game 3. To have that skill level coupled with that determination is just amazing to watch.

I feel like the most logical thing for a chant would be extending the oooo sound on his name. Kinda like the Bouucchee chant. or Zeus chant.

How about instead of just Goppa, it could be Cloppa Goppa.

Cue photoshop of Giroux's head on a Koopa Troopa.

And secondly, as much as I love Foppa, there really is no place for Goppa...

my opinion on that matter anyway.

Weren't people calling him X earlier? I like that. You could call him Wolverine because the X in X-men and his ability to grow a kickass beard.
