dont feel bad man, Briere has me beat.

With that said, hopefully you will join me in growing a sweet playoff mustache! I am dedicating mine to Jim Dowd!

I'd love to take part in this, but unfortunately even Crosby grows a better beard than I.

Jim Dowd's mustache was nuts. When we clinch then it starts.

Your not supposed to touch your beard, trim it do anything, the rules are you just let it grow wherever on your face your hair grows, and no screwing around with it. once they are eliminated then you can take it off mate. I thought by the finals crosby had a decent beard going on there.

I have been giving this topic considerable thought on how I, as a girl, can have my own playoff "thing". I can't even CONSIDER not shaving ... that would ick me out to no end... so after much deliberation - I'm going to do the opposite. Shave everything every day - not miss a day even if I'm tired or out of time... I think that's a fair compromise

So rather than a playoff beard - I'm going to be playoff bald

The Flyers are having a playoff beard competition for charity.

is anyone else doing the beard-a-thon? figured with the people on here that said they were growing one, there'd at least be a couple.

for fun: i trimmed it down for playoffs, so being blond doesn't exactly help the first-week beard https://www.beardathon.com/flyers/ri...s/profile.aspx

I also have this curse. It's the Irish in me.

The hair on my chin grows MUCH faster then the hair on my face. Kinda sucks. Also, a mustache or chin strap is pretty much impossible. I have blonde hair anyway, so it would look crappy. I'd like to do the playoff beard, but I work in a law firm, so I can't go to crazy. So far I havent shaved in a week and I look scruffy at worst/best. If the Flyers play like game 1 the rest of the series though, then I have no worries about it getting out of control.

I'm with ya girl, no way in hell I'm participating in #13. My rituals have nothing to do with hair.

I got a pretty sweet moustache on the go. When I walk by the kids parks in the morning mothers pull their children in. I think that means my moustache is beyond awesome.

My neckbeard failed to keep me warm at the Phillies game today...and I have discovered that one side of my face grows in lighter than the other

In an effort to not look like a tool (my beard grows in funny) I've shaved my neckbeard and left the rest on two occasions so far. The Flyers have won the next game on both occasions. I now know what must be done for the rest of the playoffs.

I always wear a goatee, but I'm growing the rest out.

Haven't shaved since game 1.

It's amazing how much salt I have with my pepper. Kind of disturbing really.

I shaved everything but the goatee after game 4. It's going to stay that way until we lose.

I have decided not to get a haircut until we are knocked out. I have to shave for work, so I decided to shave once a week, on Monday's only, for the rest of the playoffs. By Friday it's a little scruffy, but I can get away with it. As long as I gel my hair to the side, I can look clean even if it starts getting long.

I can't wait until I have to opportunity to actually try growing my facial hair out and see how it gets. However, one weeks growth is crazy itchy, which bothers the hell outta me.
