You're insane. It's a very tough one to sing and she's easily one of the best I've ever heard.
best I've ever heard live but I've heard much better on TV. She's frankly not a good singer even if she is a "good anthem singer". And I don't really care that it's a hard song to sing, shouldn't matter when you've sung it hundreds of times.
what, she cant wait until the end of the post season? c'mon i mean its not like theres a run on ethopian babies. its not like " honey we need to go now because they'll be all out of ethopian babies..." i could see if it was a cabbage patch kid. but meh.... it isnt.
Sadly, not for every couple who wants one... As bad as it is for those who want one of their own, it is wonderful that some of those that can't create one choose to share their love and life with one who is not fortunate enough to have parents of their own... no matter the location on Earth that they born in.

I like Lauren Hart and all, but the reason Kate Smith is on video is because she's dead. Lauren is very much alive. She just can't be there.

I think, now, I am sort of annoyed that she won't be there.

Seeing as I don't really use smileys in my posts, I will say so now...I was being a little sarcastic. While I'm a little irked she won't be there, as I do very much look forward to hearing/seeing her sing at the home games...real life is much more important than a hockey game. She's doing a baby/chile a wonderful thing, and it obviously means a lot to both her and her husband.
She should def wait a couple days or a couple weeks until we are eliminated. Its not like the kid wont be there in a week...oh wait, an Ethiopian? That kid might be dead by Sunday.

Just my opinion though. To each their own.
People, as much as I am bummed that she won't be there, this is JUST a game. The outcome will have no lasting effect on any of our lives. And her singing or not will have no effect on the outcome of the game.

I know you're joking but theres a good chance thats why she's doin it. Not that the kid will be dead, but cause she wants to get the kid out of there as quickly as possible.

Like someone already said you can't just be like hey I want a kid now and you get it. You have to wait to be approved and when they are ready to give you a child you have to do what they say. Its not like adopting a child is an easy process so... no I don't think she could have held this off and said "hey can you guys wait? I have to sing for a hockey game" really guys lay off her.-- Its sad I know this but to demonstrate that adopting a child isn't easy even Madonna (I believe) was recently rejected from adopting another child- so when you get the chance you go for it.
