At least (from what I read) Sanguinetti is progressing the last couple of months. Although a long playoff run would probably be best for his development. Oh well.

He really didn't get a lot of playing time, even after the first period penalty parade ended. He looked ok from what I saw, but I really didn't see enough of him to pass any sort of judgment.

Any chance he'll get more playing time on Saturday?

Is there a possibility Del Zotto gets called up to Hartford? Or would they wait and see if the Pack get into the second round?

I liked what I saw from Kundratek. He tried to make some plays. Wasn't too laid back or hesitant.

Brock McBride has earned a one game suspension as a result of his first period, momentum-sucking bump on Worcester Sharks defensman Brendan Buckley as the pair raced for the puck on an icing call three minutes into Thursday night’s game.

Transactions:

04/25/2009 Mitch Gaulton (D) Hartford DEL Released from ATO
04/24/2009 Andrew Loverock (G) Hartford DEL Released from ATO
04/24/2009 Maxime Daigneault (G) Hartford ADD Recalled from loan to Charlotte (ECHL)

http://stats.theahl.com/hm/transacti...&f_team_id=307

I'm hoping they just called Daigneault up because they got rid of Loverock and want a second goaltender for days Zaba doesn't practice.

We're heading up to Worcester tonight. I'm hoping the Pack make it worth it, because the 3 and a half hour drive home is gonna feel a whole lot longer if they lose.

Word. I THINK I'm heading up with a few friends. Hoping for a good effort and a tight game from the boys, that's all. Just give us a chance.

Dane Byers -3 so far.... Pack still trail 3-2 half-way through the game.

EDIT: End of 2nd period, Byers -4, Pack trail 4-2. One period of Wolfpack hockey left this year boys and girl

What's happening? They played so well during the regular season. Are they just breaking down physically? Are they worn out? This is very disappointing.

The Sharks want it more. This was never a super talented team to begin with. Now Worcester's beating them at their own game.

Rissmiller and Bell are UFAs after this season and
Denisov, Byers, Moore, Potter, Zaba and Crowder are RFAs.

Paranteau unfortunatly is a UFA and Fahey that bumm is still signed for one more year...

Rissmiller's not a UFA. We're stuck with this useless piece of crap for two more years.

Does anyone think the fact that the Rangers borught in and played so many different players towards the ned of the season was a problem? They seemed to change the lineup a lot later on in the season.

Well that is an EXTREMELY disappointing and early bow out for the back...

Well hopefully AA enjoyed what hopefully was...his last Wolf Pack game ever. Nice to see Sangs have 5 points in the 6 games.

nhlnumbers is know to be pretty inaccurate. Zipay and Weinman confirmed with NHL brass that Rissmiller and Voros are both on 3 year / $3 mil deals.
