Gomez needs to give this team something today, he has been invisible since Game 1. Hopefully, Hank steals another one. LGR!!

I don't want to see a 2-1 game and pray for Henke to save our collective bacon again.

I want to see a rookie goaltender exposed as a rookie goaltender.

Ugh, I hate these NBC games with Doc Emrick. They need to get Gary Thorne or Sam Rosen in on these calls and not some homer announcer like Emrick. Every 5 seconds you hear someone calling Eddie Olczyk "EdZo" and that ridiculous arguing between McGuire and Milbury in between periods. The Versus telecast isn't much better with that Hurricanes homer announcer who calls Lauri Korpikoski by his Polish name "Korpikowski".

Anyway, back to the game today. What has worked for the Rangers this series? Its been defense and just scoring a couple goals that has won us games and the games the Rangers have won have shown that. Game 1, got some offense and Lundqvist played well. Game 2, Lundqvist played well and tons of blocked shots. And Game 4, good team defensive game and the King was great again. In the 2 losses the Rangers have scored 0 times. Varlamov is a rookie goalie so they have just got to pepper him with shots. Forecheck hard and the Rangers should win this game. Lundqvist usually doesn't have 2 bad games in a row.

I do too, but I don't think this team knows any other way to win right now.

was going to go to the game today but i figure:

if they're going to win, i would rather go to a game next series (spend my $$ on that)

if they're going to lose, why would i want to be there today?

I will jump off the Brooklyn Bridge if this team gets more than 30 shots on goal today.

How bout dictating play?

How bout feeding off the energy in the Garden and taking control?

How bout going out and winning the one on one battles?

How bout standing up at the blue line, and clogging the neutral zone?

How bout dumping the puck in AND ACTUALLLY GETTING IN ON A FORECHECK?

How about taking control of a game and leaving no doubt that you're going to win?

Just one time this series I want to see this. And if we do it, we'l be onto the second round.

This team needs to come out all business. Get out there and get the job done. Don't get distracted by stupid things and keep the pressure up on Washington. Be physical and take the body to make plays. Use the crowd to your advantage and show no mercy on Varlamov or anyone on the Caps team. We can win this game and move on. LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!
