We needed Dandenault up Front

I REALLY think we could have used Handy Dandy on forward against the Big Bad Bruins.I remember him in last year`s playoffs scoring some big goals or at least creating chances at some very important times in the game. But unfortunately our D was so beat up this year that we needed him on D,which i think he played great.....I think he was an important part of the Team this year and i would resign him ASAP !

Dandenault is a marginal upgrade over Kostopoulos (better hands and playmaking) but thats about it, maybe the 3rd line would've been more effective with him.

But when you've already got 2 AHL rookies on D, you don't have much of a choice but to keep him back.

Indeed, with Dandy up front we would have beat the Bruins.

Yes Dandy has heart and he wants to stay.
Now for the facts, when dandy is on the ice he does not scare anybody, is not 10-15goal scorer, can't fight a paper bag.

Even if The Habs re-sign him for league minimum who then is going go at guys like thornton or Avery and such.
Habs are soft and have to get more tough guys, not goond just tough players and Dandy is just not one of those.

No.
We needed Markov, Schneider, Tanguay and Lang to beat the Bruins.
Dandy would have changed very little if he was put up front.

I do agree to resigning him though, as a 6th D.

No!!!
Either Dandy plays defence 100% of the time, or he's gone. He's not good enough to keep around. He can skate and play defensive, but he has no skill up front as far as putting the puck in the net. Get rid of him!!!
