Halak in net - Canada vs Slovakia

You can also see #81 Marcel Hossa and ex-draft pick #71 Juraj Mikus.

Right now on RDS and TSN.

Just tuned in and saw the CH on the Slovakia goalies mask and didn't realize it was Halak at first...

1-0 Canada...I think Price could have stopped that shot...

I was about to write this....if Price would have been slovakian, that would not have been in...

Carey Pricak....

By the way, another Slovakian tied to the Habs....if you hear about defenceman Rene Vydareny (#29), we've traded, a long time ago, Sylvain Blouin to the 'Nucks for Vydareny....let's say a lose-lose trade for both teams.

2-0.

Price would have stopped that one, too.

Let just say that playing against Canada might not be the easiest way to get your form back....

These commentators remind me of how much I hate Houde and Brunet. There's an actual analyst in Flynn and the describer isn't here to listen to himself talk. Refreshing.

Is Mikus playing (im at work, although you wouldn't know with all the posts today) I thought I heard he was benched for this game, was wondering how he was looking if he's playing.

Let's see if Price haters (Halak lovers) use the excuse that the team in front of him sucks and that the opposition is too strong

Think you're right after all. Mikus seems to be on the 4th line and the 4th line just played with Bicek, Olvecky and Surovy on it. Mikus doesn't seem to be playing. But can they dress as many players as they want? Can he still be on the bench?

No they have to follow IIHF rules on the number of players that can dress. A slovak fan said Mikus is in fact in the press box today.

If Price were in the Slovak net it would be 7-0 for Canada right now.

I think that they can dress 10 forwards (Hitchcock said last year that he had a hard time managing his lines because of that extra forward) and 4 pairs of defencemen according to IIHF rules.
