Orr

Redden, Exelby
Staal, Girardi
Mara, Gilroy, Potter

Lundqvist, Wikman

They have to save money somewhere so shedding Naslund and Rozsival is realistic. Sign Gaborik for cheap and Lundqvist for 4th line C.
I actually really like this team. A lot of depth which is nice. Maybe trade Gomer and a 1st for a legit top line center and we are looking realllllllllly nice

Soe of you just don't get it. "Another 4th liner." Thjis particular 4th liner happpens to be the brother of our goaltender. Them being together would certainly help this team.

If Betts is lost I'd really like to see Lundqvist replace him.

lundqvist really isnt good, we shouldnt sign the guy as a favor to his brother. Betts should be our guy.

Nope I just watch hockey with a clear head and never favor people because they are a favorite of mine. Hank is very good and top 10 NHLer in net but not elite or the best in the game. Joel is not anything more then a AHL call up and in no way should he signed as a favor to anyone we want to win and develop players not sign guys to make his brother happy

Wouldn't be bad to sign him for depth. That was the point of Rissmiller last summer, you need players who can fill in if your young guys aren't ready to take a spot out of training camp.

I hate to agree with Dag, but I think on this one he's correct. Moore, Byers, Pyatt we have a variety of guys who could be 4th liners on this team possible as good as Lundqvist who dont require a signing or one-way contract.

I think Betts will get better money elsewhere. Rangers are tight on the cap and can't afford to pay the 1.5 + Betts will likely get to be a 3rd line C and PK specialist on another team

I would take Lundqvist in place of Betts. I would let Zherdev go. I'd try my very best to re-sign Antropov. I would try to give a fair take it or leave it offer for Morris.

I would also buy-out Naslund's contract.

I'm hoping Grachev, Byers, and Anismimov make the squad.

My biggest summer target is getting a proven goal scorer. You want to say Gaborik, but injuries come to mind.

The thing is, does Joel pk? Is he a very good pker? Because the only spot he would address might be 4th line and if he is replacing either Betts or Sjo then he better be a very good pker.
