How to paint my One95?

I want to conceal my One95 stick and pretend its a cheap composite. Having a One95 is awesome and all but I am conscious of others of wanting to break it especially with the 30 days almost over. What kind of paint and procedures do I need to go through? I'll keep the Bauer logo but black out the Supreme One 95 logo and the yellow strip on the back. I'm looking to keep the glossy finish on the stick.

Get some black spray paint. Lacquer paint for cars are best. Mask off areas you don't want painted with masking tape. Lightly mist several layers of paint on the stick, wait a few minutes between coats. Let it air and gas out for about a day before using it.

agreed. Seriously? Who would be a dick to break other people's stuff because it is nice?

What level are you playing at? Unless you play in a slum town and your the only one that can afford nice stuff and you just got a big bonus and all of your other players are dirt poor and can barely afford gear AND you rub it in your face, they shouldn't break your stuff.

I play at A level and am only one with one95 so far. Other good sticks I've seen around with a couple of guys on other teams are synergy elite. I am one of the smaller players and have been on a tear lately. No I don't rub it in peoples face after a goal, just a simple fist pump and props with teammates.

Took me a while to earn the cash to buy the one95 and could take just one *******. I am not one of those players who can afford to keep multiple one95 sticks in stock.

Just got car lacquer paint. Paint can seems light so I don't think it'll affect the weight and balance of the stick. I'll probably put on a light 2-3 layers, hopefully there won't be a ridge between the tape and paint.

I just use regualr flat black spray paint, works fine for me. I'm not trying to create a masterpiece, just trying to keep the water from getting into the shaft and covering up ugly factory paint jobs.

I like that too ... flat black. Flat black is pretty no fuss no muss for sure.

I played against a guy who painted his neon orange. What a whackadoon.

People are going to find out you have a painted stick and try to break it.

Paint it camoflauge so nobody can see it.

This is just me. If you worked that hard saving money to buy that stick, you'll be seriously bummed if you paint it.

If he's only doing the logo and a strip and he really wants to completely eliminate that threat to his stick it won't be too bad if he does a good job.

In all honesty he could get past the 30 day warranty by one minute and snap the thing in half on a shot and then what would it matter what it looked like.

At least this way kids who eye up his stick will see black not $$$95 and look for something else nicer to take their anger out on.

Or he could just be aware of where he's positioning his stick

OP could try getting real good friends with the person he bought it from. My buddy in juniors used to get sticks at cost, and if it ever broke even after 30 days he just got a new reciept for it and sent it in , not that i am recommending this

Wouldn't painting ruin the "integrity" of the stick and cause it to break more easily? Just sayin...

The 2nd post in the thread recommended car spray paint lacquer to keep gloss finish on stick. I'll be experimenting with my old yet still reliable easton cnt stealth before I paint the one95.

That's why people usually paint the bottom portions of the stick.

I really don't think painting the stick will cause it to lose "structural integrity" or whatever. It will void your warranty obviously, so do it after the 30 days.

Just make sure you do a better job than Michael Ryder who obviously just sprays black spray paint on everything but the logo on the shaft.

Click the link if the image red Xes.
