Hunwick biking and lifting

Matt Hunwick has started riding the bike and lifting weights. That's a great sign that he's healing well.

Wow. Another quick healing and tough kid. Let's hope he can gain a few of those pounds back that he lost, and get back soon. If he plays hockey again this post-season, that would be amazing.

That's fantastic news. He sounds like a quick healer- looking to get on the ice next week. IF the B's are lucky enough to get to round 3, I'd expect that it wouldn't even start for another 2+ weeks. So I bet there's a chance he could be back sometime next round.

He lost something like 14 lbs. after the surgery from being stationary and having no appetite. Or maybe his spleen was HUUUUUGE!!!! lol.

The B's are holding the fort without him, but it sure will be nice when he gets back.

I'd be amazed to see him in the playoffs - but he is a d man with a future in the league, hoping its with the Bruins.

Awesome news.

Isn't the normal recovery time 4-6 weeks for a splenectomy (sp)?
