Been a great game to watch so far. Need to cash in on their chances. Semin's had two opportunities and blew them both. He did that in game 5 v NYR too then came back on his 3rd chance.

Laich has 1 goal in 11 games and has not been good.

Injury?

Backstrom's got to hold onto that puck on the wrap around just a little longer. That's twice now this series.

Van-surfing is clearly against league regulations. Suspend him.

Nope. He's just not been doing things to put himself in good scoring positions.

Not crashing the net, not standing in front of the net etc.. he hasn't put himself in high scoring areas so he hasn't had many good scoring chances

Greg Millen hates Ovechkin, at least he doesn't try to cover it up tho.

Gordon's looking good. Drew a penalty, created a couple of chances.

Laich also hasn't been getting prime PP time.

Question for you rules junkies -

Why did the refs blow the whistle there (delayed penalty) when the puck merely bounced off MAF's pad? Doesn't the opposing team have to have possession of the puck?
