Without the Flames to watch

I'm wondering what you will watch and what teams you will cheer for when hockey is out for the next couple months.

Personally I will go to some U of C Dinos and some Calgary Hitmen games, but I don't have a clue what will be televised yet.

*edit*

I recieved this email from Sportsnet.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your recent email. Our current plans includes broadcast games of the AHL and CHL. I hope this helps.

Sincerely
Jim LaChapelle

I'll watch Making the Cut, check out some OSHL and some WHL games. Might catch a game at the U of C. But for the most part I'll be standing in the bathtub with a knife, just in case.

I'd be pretty excited to see alot of CHL games. But don't forget, there's always the Roughnecks to go watch as well.

The defending NLL Champions!

Maybe a televised AHL or CHL game... but probably will just use extra time to concentrate on school

I'll be busy covering the WHL still, as well as the Flames prospects.

Really, the lockout has no effect on Hockey's Future, aside from NHL rookie reports. I guess that's a good thing for all you readers!

The '03 draftees out of the CHL must be signed by June 1st of 2005 or they would re-enter the draft (or become UFA's if they are too old to re-enter). So still some time left for the Flames to make decisions on guys like Donally, Harvey, Tardif, etc.

except for the fact that during a lockout contract negotiations are not allowed... so if 03 draftees are bound to that 2005 date regardless of a new CBA being hammered out, then if the lockout lasts to that date, you would see alot of re-entering draftees (but then if the lockout was that long, you probably wouldn't see an entry draft until 2006.. which then you would have triple the normal amount of players available)
