I'm seriously considering buying an intermediate stick just for the hell of it and see if I like the lower flex.

I once took a shot with a woodie and it broke from blade to the top of my hand, but I could still use it. A strip of wood just broke off. The flex was cut in half, but I could shoot it like a whip. I swear the wrist shots were harder than my 85 flex stick. Now, the stick did flex crazy, and it wasn't legal, but that time alone is making me think that maybe.. just maybe, I would prefer something other than an 85 flex.
