First of all, a 16 oz. Labatt Blue is a good thing.

Second, wow this Vancouver team is all over the map performance-wise.

True and true... It's strange lately (the last two weeks that is), when I post about within game trends that trend changes within minutes.

I'm shutin the yapper on this one.

4-4 now in the Hawks/Canucks game.

Two elite NHL hockey games tonight, May 11th, 2009 and so far 17 goals scored. That is not playoff hockey folks. Goaltending and defense must improve.. That said, it's exciting pond like hockey in your back yard.

In Hitch I trust...

Make the goalies' pads bigger!

I bet the League is happy with the increased scoring.

Bettman his prolly having a Blue right now he's so happy... 4,5,6 goals per team does make it exiting but in truth it's wild, wild west BAD hockey.

Detroit will kill any of the teams I'm seeing tonight playing wide open hockey.

Game of the playoffs right next to Carolina's buzzer beater vs the Devils.

Goaltending does not exist in Chicago tonight. 6-5 Hawks with 6+ left in the 3rd.

This game is crazy. I look away when it's 3-3, and it's 4-4 when I look back. I look away when it's 4-4, and it's 5-5 when I look back. Luckily, I just saw Toews make it 6-5. Go Hawks.

Nice pass by Toews.... ugly hockey imo.

Why can't we have a guy like Kane or Toews on our team?? I'd trade Nash for either one in a heartbeat. Kane/Toews can kick it up a notch when necessary and Nash can't.

Stop teasing me... Whats wrong with Nash skating around looking for three guys to set him up on the blueline.

btw, my boy Kane is from South Buffalo....

Hard to believe Kane and Voracek were rated about equal before the 07 draft, Kane is clearly miles ahead of Jake.

Luongo's poor goaltending is making some of those goals look a lot better.

He should have saved the last few goals.

Please tell me you are not going MFRONE on us with this anti-CBJ negativity...

TW and Skimp are on the mark tonight... There is no comparison (at this stage of their career) between Kane and Voracek. But to be honest it's the coaching as well, Quinnville allows an open game, Hitch does not.

If you guys want more Blue Jacket scoring get a new head coach. Just sayin.
