Your dream Stanley Cup matchup?

I would love to see the Red Wings and Rangers go at it in a 7 game series. Two storied franchises playing in two of the more historic venues in the NHL. Great fans on either side, not to mention the original 6 rivalry. I always wanted to see the Canadiens and Avalanche clash in the finals as well. It would somewhat bring back the battle for Quebec rivalry to some degree. I know the QC fans who have not already gone ahead to support the Habs would be pulling for the Av's.

vs.

vs.

As for the teams remaining in this years playoffs, I would love to see the Bruins and Blackhawks bump heads.

vs.

Of whats possible at the moment, I'd go with Wings v Bruins Overall, I'd like to see a Leafs and Wings play one after the Wings win two more. I know that is going to be a bit perhaps, just tossing it out there.

From the teams left now, Hawks - Bruins. Though it would be fun to see the young talent of Hawks - Pitt battle it out.

I was going to include Florida, but I don't even dare dream at this point.

Carolina Detroit would be real good. Staal and Ward are beasts. Would be real different than last time they played in the finals. Without Gonchar i think pitt would get manhandled by Detroit or Anaheim. Just my view

I took your post personally and it felt good seeing someone care about my team in some way haha. Id love to see the Avs come back and play the Devils. Only East team I really hate.

Hey man I really love the Av's one of my favorite 90s relocated franchises. Watching you guys duke it out with the Red Wings year in and year out was nothing short of epic.

The best thing for the league would be Kings vs Rangers...

Chicago Blackhawks vs. New Jersey Devils.

If NJ didn't massively **** up, it could have been a reality this year. Sigh.

Just on the basis of my two favorite teams, Detroit and Washington in the finals would be awesome.

If by some miracle that happened this year, you couldn't wipe the grin off my face.

That would almost be as bad as the Anaheim-NJD series a couple of years ago...

Like not only is the markets small, the product was horrible (with the old Ana).
