My mom is Irish, but she grew up in England and she drinks tea everyday.
I still spring got the coffee myself, but thats a recent thing. I never got into tea.
Iced tea or green tea sure, but not regular english tea.
My mom drinks tea like it's water. I like tea, don't get me wrong, but it's actually quite disturbing to see how often and how much she drinks it. I'd say anywhere from 6-10 cups a day. I don't even drink that much coffee, and that's saying a lot.
Since we seem to be on the soccer thing right now, does anyone know when/how they determine who is going to play for the Union? I'm pumped for next season already but I can't find a thing about how they're going to make the roster.

A couple of guys I know are planning to try out too. I was more wondering if we get to poach players off other teams' rosters like the old NHL expansion drafts or anything like that. And do we get the first pick in the SuperDraft or whatever its called?

Here's a link to the artcile describing Seattle's Expansion Draft:
On the topic of coffee and tea.
I love both, so which ever you have I'll drink whatever. Coffee is sooo good though, I loved the taste the first time I had it.
Thanks. Looks like it's going to be a while before we get some names to root for.
Seattle signed two prominent names through free agency (Kasey Keller and Freddie Ljungberg), so it's not out of the realm of possibility that Philly could draw notable players in their expansion year.
I am looking forward to the new MLS team. I want to get season tickets, but I don't think it's in the cards. I'm the only one I know who will even bother with soccer.
OMG! THANK YOU! I didn't even think to look for it on youtube! Holy ****, with all the drama before hand, he's gonna get crucified. I think the best part is that he was all worried about bouncing it in, and instead he throws it in the stands..LOL! Poor Gary!!
to me it looked like he was throwing that with his wrong hand or he did it on purpose. I mean no one can honestly miss that bad from 60 feet can they? lol

Yeah, I hate soccer. It's just too slow. In baseball you can hang on every pitch, and each one could be a home run, but in soccer, it's not that way at all.
Honestly though, I have played some, and it is quite fun to play. I just can't watch it though.

I'm not a huge fan. I don't follow any team, but I'll watch it from time to time for entertainment purposes. My friend is a big soccer fan, and was trying to talk me into getting season tickets for the Philly team. I'm not sure if I'm going to, but I think now that there's a local team, I'll probably start to follow it a bit more. She's actually insisting on taking me to the world cup qualifying game that's at Lincoln Financial in July. My thing is I never played it as a kid. I tried, but the whole foot coordination thing has to be going on, which I lack in the most severe form. I'd most likely try kicking the ball and end up breaking my ankle in 5 places. I was a lacrosse player. Aside from running, it had nothing to do with feet haha.

One of my ex's was a girls lacrosse goalie. Now I understand when people say it takes a "special" person to be a goalie.

She was a nut job.
My good friend in high school was the goalie on our team, and she used to show me her bruises. I got them just from being tapped during a game or practice. I'm not sure if you or anyone else on here has ever felt a lacrosse ball before. ****'s heavy as ****, and I can't imagine any normal person wanting to be continuously pelted with that thing. I remember getting hit in the shin on a bounce, not even on a throw and I had a black and blue mark for about 2 or 3 weeks.
So i heard today in class that their was a Sonic being built/built already in south jersey on 38. Is this true? and if so where on 38? Those damn commercials make you want to go there so bad.
