Thats great news! Man I can't wait till the Monarchs play in LA. They really have a great team this year Garon, Brown, Cammy, Gleason, Greb's, Barney, and Lehoux will be fun to watch.

It's bitter sweet for me. Honestly, I feel bad posting some times because I know it's tough on your end right now. Things will change and before you know it, we'll all be cursing at you guys for the call-ups...

True. In fact, I almost mentioned something along the lines of that in my first post.

Yeah I know what your saying. I will say this though, I've seen the guy score some awesome goals even in training camp against a high level of competition. Theres no doubt he's got skill and the potential to become a dangerous player if he can get his overall game together. Dont forget Eric Belanger was in a similiar situation when he turned pro.

Any way, Go Monarchs!

Yes but I am grateful for the information they provide on the Monarchs. Maybe the LA Times could hire King Blazer.

What worries me the most is that the Kings have some holes right now and when the lockout is over the Kings will fill them. Will they use prospects or unrestricted free agents?

I think the likely answer is both.

I agree with that and the questions are all in the top 2 lines IMO. Our defense and goaltending is pretty much set. I know we have a lot of players who are capable of playing on the 3rd and 4th lines effectively. Straka, Conroy, and Frolov are going to be on the top 2 lines and we need 3 others to complete a line and I agree it will most likely come from both. I see the KINGS signing 2 from free agency and using another young player(Camms, Barney...).

I am nervous on who the Kings may have to give up in return to acquire
the top 6 talent they need. One good thing about Dave Taylor he plans for tomorrow and that is something the Kings havent done until McMaster and he joined the ranks of management. It will be an interesting time for Kings fans and the rest of the NHL when they finally sign a new CBA. I just hope that the Kings come out on top.
