Sigur ros rocks McLargeHuge. Great reference!

I am thinking this is perhaps a five game series. It appears that the Canes are very scrappy and do not give up. I'm looking forward, in particular to games 3,4, & 5 because I will be on vacation in North Myrtle. I watched the last three games of the Cup finals there last year and was praying for the Pens to be alive so I'll have that too (in addition to the beach and the week long bender).

Not a great game by either team I thought. Congrats on the win tho I would have preferred the 4-1 loss to be honest. Sucks about Ruutu and Cole. If they aren't back quick I'll have to rethink my Canes in 7 prediction.

ya i was not hoping for a 4-1 win, would've gave me that deja vu feeling. So since our game 1 was a different score than your previous 2 series, maybe game 2 will be different too

That was a very shaky way to end the game for us. We couldn't get the puck out of our zone to save our lives. It was like dodging a bullet.
Dodged a bullet and came out with a win though.

Crosby, Orpik, Gonchar, Staal, Scuderi all did not play well tonight imo. Malkin was good and Fleury was great.

I think that 72 hours til Gonchar has to play again is going to be a big boost for him, and I like the chances that Crosby bounces back big. I think our team will be much improved in game 2.

I noticed the complete 360 this series compared to the Pen's last two match-ups against the Flyers and Capitals. Pretty good match-up no doubt. The penguins looked fresh out there tonight. Satan!?!?

Anyone else able to breath while watching the game tonight? I think I developed a twitch from the Capitals series; spine tingling action indeed!

Go Penguins!!!
