I(like mostly everybody here i would say) don't really get to see any of these guys play much. But the only direct comparison i have is that i know how good Radulov is, and that him and Perezhogin played on the same team. Perezhogin outproduced him so thats who i'll go with.

Korneev for me, cause I assume we are losing Komisarek, so our D is going to be a problem if our top 6 is

Markov-Gorges
Hammer O'B
Schneider-Weber

And if someone says just sign JayBo I will scream (well not really since I'm at work)

Perezhogin, hands down. He's already played in the NHL. The three others would likely require at least a bit of seasoning in the AHL, IMO.

And I have to think the people voting Emelin are going by hopeful-word-of-mouth rather than by his actual on-ice play. He was pretty brutal every time I saw him last year.

My guess would be that Korneev wouldn't need any time in Hamilton, since he's played 7 years in the RSL/KHL playing on the top pairing in 3 of those seasons, and has been on the WC team the last couple years, so he's had good experience. But you never know how he would adjust to the smaller ice so there is a risk.

Perezhogin would be a good choice too.

If only one, I'd say Perezhogin. He's probably the surest thing to play well in the NHL out of the four.

You think Komo is gone then eh? Crazy how we haven't heard of any signings yet.

Korneev is the one I'd be least worried about (of the 3 defenders) but any time you take a defenseman used to the European ice and stick him on a smaller rink, I think there's going to be a period of adjustment. How well Korneev would adapt to that is anyone's guess, but I'd still go for the safer pick in Perezhogin.

Edit: I guess I should also specify that I am aware, of course, that Valentenko played a season in Hamilton but I don't feel talent wise he is close to Korneev which is why I would still choose the latter.

Korneev is a legit 2-3 dman and would help out the club the most in the immediate future.

Yes I think Komo is gone. With all the new owner talk, I am concerned it's going to effect things this summer. Guess we'll see.

Yea I agree, there would be an adjustment period and we wouldn't know how he would do unless we saw him here and it sounds like that's never going to happen or so I would think if he signs a multi-year deal with Salavat, sucks was hoping to see him come over so we could see what he could do. Would love to have seen him with Markov in preseason just to see how they would do together.

Still despite the risk, I'd want Korneev more cause I'm very concerned about our D, although if we lose Tanguay, Kovy and rest we are pretty much F'd anyway.

That's not the question though, the op was just asking if you could chose one who would it be. Frankly I don't think we will see any of our Russians, outside of Emelin maybe.

I'd take Korneev without a second thought. That's a nice collection of players, it's too bad for the Habs, but that's the way it is.

I voted Korneev. Second choice would be Perezhogin. I think Perezhogin is probably a safer bet since he has already basically demonstrated he can play in the NHL. But since we need help on the blueline more, I figured I'd swing for the fences with Korneev instead. (And Korneev seems to have a lot more skill and has played much better than Emelin or Valentenko ever have).

I don't understand why players like Korneev and Emelin don't at least attend a camp or two with the Habs. If you like it stay, if you don't you go back.

Perezhogin has prooved he was a player who will never give his 110% to the team. He should never be considered again to play in the NHL in any team. I've choosen Emelin, but the other 3 are by far better than lame-a$$ Perezhogin who never did anything in the NHL.

Korneev. He brings the package of skills that we are most in need of out of the 4.

None of them

I would make a deal with Nashville to get Radulov. (who now is thinking of coming back to NHL !)
