An interesting article about potential coaching changes for the team...

Im all for McGill and Allen to backup Keenan. Keenan staying doesnt seem like such a crazy thing but I bet if Calgary has another slow October... Keenan will be the first to get the boot.

But if Keenan does stay, can we at least start a petition in Calgary to end the constant line juggling?

I never understood this complaint... Sutter juggled lines more than Keenan does... and as for McGill and Allen... no... they need to win in the AHL... they just aren't doing that... let Keenan choose his own assistants don't just give him new crap Sutter chooses for him

McGill has done a pretty solid job down in the minors and I wouldn't be opposed to him stepping up into a role with the flames.

I'm with Lunatik though I'd rather see Keenan get his own guys if he does stick around for the last year of his contract.

when sutter was juggling lines it was because of a serious lack in chemistry. when keenan juggles lines where the chemistry is already established, its absolutely retarded. he consistently gave up on players after a couple bad games, making whoever "prove" themselves again, only to have the exact thing happen a few games later. iggy had plenty of bad games this year and you never saw him demoted. you would think that moving iggy to the third pairing for a game would really send a message to the boys, but instead keenan used other players as scapegoats for his horrible mismanagement.

in my honest opinion he's just as much to blame for our late season slide as the team was. what with giving kipper little to no rest, constantly breaking up lines that were clicking (or choosing to not re-establish said lines after said "proving" period was over) and a complete under-utilization of staff/practice time. (looks like the assistants are his new scapegoats, although it will be interesting to see how keenan fairs with a new staff, that is if he's still around next october)

theres a reason sutter said that his methods wouldn't work in the post-lockout era.. and they're the exact methods keenan uses today.

Keena didn't do all that much line juggling this season... teh lines were pretty much set... late in the season when we had a bunch of injuries and a new player in Jokinen he juggled more trying to find chemistry... and Sutter didn't just juggle to find chemistry he would put any new forward or any player well with Iginla
