No it really doesn't. Add "15 years ago" and it seems even longer.

One of the best events in sports history. As a Ranger fan, that was my favorite part of the '94 cup run.

He single-handedly stole that game, incredible.

He's just bitter, cause that sounded like a Rangers Home playoff game.

SO sad...

Haha, you know it. I wish it seemed like yesterday.

I remember I didnt get SportChannel at my house so I wound up watching the game at the Port Jeff bowling alley. Turned out to be a great atmosphere and a great night. Still one of the best sports events I've ever seen.

I was at the game.

Part of what gives off the sense of it not being so long ago is MSG's propaganda machine that keeps replaying the Dev and Nuck series. Lets move on.

I wouldn't trade that Cup for anything but MSG would have you believe it was some pivotal world event.

Definitely, but what else is MSG going to show? There havent exactly been many great moments at MSG since 1994. The Knicks run in 99? Thats about it.

They have archives. Love to see more stuff from the 80s. Love to see more from the Quebec series. More from the ECF run (besides just the Gretzky hattrick against the Cats).

Doesn't have to be the playoffs either.

Im assuming MSG doesnt have the rights to play some of those FOX games from 97? Id like to see the Game 5 clincher against the Devils, as well as Gretzky's 2nd hat trick against the Flyers. But if memory serves me correctly, both those games were on FOX.

Thanks for the heads up, I might catch some of it.

The forgotten heroics of that game is how Richter stood up his head when it was 2-0 Devils.

Was just going to come here and post this. I turned on espn classic expecting to see some dumb boxing match or college football game. It's exciting to be able to see the whole game in full.

And the game Kovalev played. And the job Doug Lidster did filling in for Beuk.

I'm not tired of hearing about it. But I am tired of MSG trying to present it like it was some sort of recent event.

Spoken like true Ranger fans, still living on the glory of 1994 hell yeah! I don't think Sam Rosen realized how much truth would lie in his "...and this one will last a lifetime!" comment.
